Flash forward to the present day, we have created weapons and warheads that are capable of doing 3,000 times more damage than what we had in the past.
Every other day, we learn about the development of military technology from all over the world. These innovations in technology always have two sides, both good and bad – the good being the improvements and the bad being the negative consequences.
Much of these advancements were made during World War and World War II which is why they are considered some of the most destructive wars in history.
The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki are two prime examples of how wars can be so destructive to the extent that they are still affecting the world to this day.
Although military technology helps us to grow powerful and dominant throughout the world, it is imperative to begin thinking about the devastating potential outcomes of our military technology as we attempt to advance towards a more peaceful society.
